Maví is made by boiling and seasoning fermented bark from the maví tree, giving it warm notes of cinnamon and coffee, following the tradition of the iconic Plazas de Mercado in the towns of Arecibo, San Sebastián, Lares, Las Marías, Aguada, and Hato Rey, Puerto Rico. It's a refreshing drink with real history behind it, great served ice cold any time of day or alongside a classic Puerto Rican lunch. Comes in a half-gallon container. Keep it refrigerated and give it a shake before serving, since the natural bark sediment can settle at the bottom.
