This cube steak (bisté) comes crushed and tenderized, from local grassfed cattle raised without hormones or antibiotics, USDA certified and packaged by Productos La Hacienda in Juncos. It's great pan-fried quickly with garlic and onion for a classic bistec encebollado, or breaded for a milanesa-style steak. Comes vacuum sealed in a package of approximately 1 pound, frozen. Thaw it in the refrigerator the day before cooking to keep it juicy and flavorful.
